I work as a freelance artist in photography, graphic design, and fine art. I started learning my crafts at different stages of my life.

I discovered my drawing abilities when I was 14. My art teacher helped nurture my skills and encouraged me to attend college (This is a fascinating story, ask me about it if we ever talk). I attended Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC 2002) for my Associate’s Degree and then the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee (UWM 2005) for my Bachelor’s Degree.

After graduation, I landed my dream job as a graphic designer at McDill Design (2005), where I worked for nine years. While there, my interest in photography started. In 2014 I started my own photography business and co-founded the art collective “From Here to Her” during these years, I dove into the world of photography and fine art. In 2020 I started working at De Vor communications, where I was a graphic designer specializing in construction communications. It was a job I loved and was great at.

I’m fortunate to work out of my home office/studio, where I care for my three children and miniature schnauzer. Quality of life and family is essential to me. I also believe strongly in hard work, punctuality, and professionalism. I feel that is why I have maintained excellent relationships with my clients.

I grew up on the south side of Milwaukee. I am blessed with a large, beautiful, and artistically talented family. Living in a home with 13 people was my first-hand experience learning patience, teamwork, respect, and love.

These areas have filled my creative world. However, I have many interests, including martial arts, costume design, and gardening. Whenever possible, I travel to Mexico, where I love learning about my family and culture.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know my work and me.
